First off, I want to start by saying that I drive 1 hour from Bowling Green to come here and it is well worth the trip for the high quality care I’ve received. I’ve been going to Peters Family Eyecare since April this year to help manage my dry eye. After suffering from this very uncomfortable condition and going through previous eye doctors who just didn’t seem to care or have the knowledge to treat my issue, I immediately felt so much hope just from my initial visit with Dr. Peters. He is so kind, attentive, and knowledgeable about this condition. He took the time to really listen to my experience and answer my many questions. He focuses on targeting the root cause and will help you figure out what other factors may be exacerbating your issues. Lots of great suggestions and a multi-step approach to addressing the problem. I also appreciate the state of the art equipment they have to gather objective data— everything about the initial assessment was very thorough and follow-ups have been as well. Right away I knew I was in the right place. I have returned many times for follow-ups and IPL sessions this year and every single time I have had an overwhelmingly positive experience. My eyes feel so much better than they did before and I finally have hope that we can prevent my condition from getting worse. Early detection really is key with meibomian gland dysfunction and I feel confidant that Dr. Peters will help me maintain the integrity of my glands. It’s such a relief to have a doctor who truly cares and has so much compassion for dry eye. Every single staff person I’ve encountered have also been wonderful. Shawna, specifically, is fantastic and has done such a wonderful job with my IPL sessions and the first OptiPlus RF treatment I received today! I only have good things to say about this place and I would recommend it to anyone.
