Dr. Randy L. Peters
Dr. Peters graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1994, where he received many awards and honors, including the Contact Lens Excellence Award and the Bausch and Lomb Practice Management Award. He has been practicing optometry for over 20 years. He and his wife, Diane, moved to Bryan in 1996, when he opened Peters Family Eyecare.
Dr. Peters specializes in providing comprehensive eyecare, contact lens evaluations, and the treatment and management of ocular disease. He has received specialized training in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of eye diseases, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, etc. In addition, he has made it is his mission to utilize numerous advancements in optical technology which enable him to examine your eye health and vision in the most state-of-the-art manner possible in today’s world. He is also recognized for his commitment to providing the highest level of patient care in the treatment and management of Dry Eye Syndrome.
Dr. Peters has three children, Travis, Drew, and Taylor. He and his wife have been actively involved in the Bryan community and its many organizations over the years, including the United Way of Williams County, Bryan Rotary Club, Bryan Civic League, Bryan Athletic Boosters, YMCA, etc. Dr. Peters and his family attend New Hope Community Church.

Our exceptional, friendly staff is our greatest asset. They are excited about what they do and they care personally about getting the best results for our patients. Our receptionists will try to accommodate your busy schedule by finding appointments that suit your needs.
Trish has worked at Peters Family Eyecare since July 2009. As our fabulous Practice Administrator, she handles a broad range of tasks behind-the-scenes that ultimately ensure an enjoyable patient experience. Outside of work, you will find Trish spending time with her three adult children and son-n-law. She enjoys walking, gardening, baking and reading. At Grace Community Church, Trish volunteers on the welcoming committee.
Katrisha has been part of our team since 2014 and is known to her co-workers as “BT.” She is a graduate of Columbia City High School in Indiana and currently resides in Edgerton with her husband, daughter, and son. She has two dogs and loves to camp and spend time at the lake.
Erin joined our staff in August of 2015. She is our Billing and Insurance Coordinator. She is from the Bryan area, and spends most of her free time with her husband and dog! Erin loves photography, riding motorcycles with her husband, and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to being one of our Clinical Opticians, Shawna is also our dry eye specialist. She has been with Peters Family Eyecare since 2017. She is a Tinora High School alum and a graduate of the University of Toledo with a B.A. in Communication. Shawna lives in Defiance with her husband and is mother to two daughters and one son. She enjoys spending time at home with her family, shopping, and traveling ‑ there are only six states she hasn’t visited!
Alex joined our team in May 2019, and is a Clinical Technician and our spunky contact lens coordinator. She is a Fairview High School graduate, resides in Ney with her son Calvin and dog Trigger, and fills her time with family, scrapbooking and being outdoors.
Heather joined our team in May of 2019 and specializes in insurance billing. She is originally from Milwaukee, and graduated from Milwaukee Area Technical College with a degree in Surgical Technology. She now resides in Stryker with her husband and youngest daughter. She enjoys spending time at home with her family and adult children and also watching her youngest daughter play her senior year of high school sports. She and her husband will be empty nesters next year!
Carrie started her career with Peters Family Eyecare in June 2019. As a clinical optician, she is always ready to greet our patients with her infectious smile and warm personality. She is originally from the Toledo area and is married with two teenage boys. Her favorite things to do are watch her children play sports, travel and golf.
Lisa has been with our team since July 2019 and is a Clinical Optician. Originally from Mount Vernon, Ohio, she now resides in Archbold, where she has lived for the past 30 years. Lisa attended Bowling Green State University and has 13 years of experience as an optician. She has three adult children and five grandchildren.
Loralee is one of our clinical opticians and has enjoyed working in all areas of eye care, including over three years of experience with an area retinal specialist.She resides in Edgerton with her husband and three children. Her time is best spent watching her children on the football fields, basketball courts and baseball and softball fields. She also enjoys being a volunteer coach in Edgerton, taking mission trips with her church and spending time with friends and family.
Trisha is a graduate of Edon High School and currently lives in Edgerton with her husband Michael, two kids, Hayley and Tanner, and two pups. Trisha enjoys shopping, reading and camping, as well as watching her children participate in sports.
Melissa is a North Central High School alum and a graduate of NWSCC with her Associates in Program Administration. She has enjoyed working in the optometry field with over five years of experience. Melissa resides in Montpelier with her husband and two children where she enjoys camping or spending time at the lake with them. She also enjoys crafts, shopping and cooking for friends and family!
